Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Overealm or placing an order.

By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Overealm

Overealm is an independent artistic brand specializing in digitally hand-drawn Japanese-inspired calligraphy printed on custom products such as mousepads and deskmats.

Each piece is created individually using a graphic tablet and represents a unique artistic creation made specifically for the customer.

Products are fulfilled through trusted print-on-demand production partners located in the United States.

2. Products & Customization

2.1 Handcrafted Digital Artwork

Every design is individually created based on the word, name, or phrase submitted by the customer.

All calligraphy is digitally hand-drawn and represents an artistic interpretation rather than an automated or mechanical translation.

2.2 Artistic Interpretation Disclaimer

Overealm creates stylized calligraphy inspired by Japanese visual traditions.

Please note:

• Designs are artistic interpretations and may differ from traditional or academic Japanese writing
• We do not guarantee phonetic, grammatical, or semantic accuracy
• If you require precise linguistic meaning, you should consult a qualified translator before ordering
• By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this artistic approach

2.3 Prohibited Content

Customers may not submit content that includes:

• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
• Illegal, violent, extremist, or abusive content
• Copyrighted logos, trademarks, or protected brand imagery
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Any material deemed inappropriate or unlawful

Overealm reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these restrictions.

Refund eligibility for canceled orders will be evaluated at our discretion.

2.4 Color & Print Variations

Due to differences in screen settings, lighting conditions, materials, and print production methods, slight variations in color, contrast, texture, positioning, or scale may occur between digital previews and the final printed product.

These variations are considered normal production differences and are not considered defects.

3. Order Process

3.1 Placing an Order

When placing an order, you are responsible for providing accurate customization details.

Please carefully review spelling, wording, and submitted text before completing your purchase.

Overealm is not responsible for errors originating from customer-submitted content.

3.2 Preview Policy

Digital previews are not automatically included with every order.

Preview options may be offered separately depending on the product or customization level selected.

If no preview is requested, production may begin shortly after order confirmation using the customization details exactly as submitted.

3.3 Order Acceptance

You will receive an order confirmation email after purchase.

Overealm reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order before production begins.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed on the website are listed in United States Dollars (USD).

We accept payment methods available through our secure checkout providers.

Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will always be honored at the price shown during checkout.

Applicable taxes may be added depending on your billing or shipping location.

5. Refunds & Replacements

Because all products are custom-made and personalized specifically for each customer, all sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges except in the following situations:

• The product arrives damaged or defective
• The wrong product was received
• The package is confirmed lost during transit

within 14 days of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost packages).

We may request photographic evidence before approving a replacement.

Approved issues are resolved through replacement only. Cash refunds are not provided.

6. Shipping

6.1 Processing Time

Orders generally require 1–2 business days for artwork creation and production preparation before shipping.

Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.

6.2 Shipping Options — United States

Shipping estimates are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

6.3 International Shipping

Overealm currently ships within the United States only.

International shipping may become available in the future.

6.4 Tracking

Once shipped, customers will receive a tracking number by email.

Overealm is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers after the package has been transferred for delivery.

7. Intellectual Property

All Overealm artwork, calligraphy, templates, branding, graphics, logos, designs, and visual content remain the exclusive intellectual property of Overealm.

Purchasing a product grants ownership of the physical item only.

Customers may not:

• reproduce artwork,
• resell designs,
• modify artwork for commercial use,
• distribute digital files,
• or commercially exploit Overealm creations without written permission.

All products and artwork are intended for personal use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers retain ownership of the text they submit for customization.

By submitting content, you grant Overealm a limited non-exclusive license to use that content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Overealm may display anonymized artwork examples for portfolio or promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Overealm shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products or services.

This includes dissatisfaction related to artistic interpretation or subjective aesthetic preferences.

Overealm’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order involved.

9. Force Majeure

Overealm shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

These may include:

• natural disasters,
• severe weather,
• shipping carrier disruptions,
• labor shortages,
• internet outages,
• production interruptions,
• governmental actions,
• or other unforeseen events.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations.

11. Changes to These Terms

Overealm may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
